Block-printing Project Teaching Pack ISBN: 0-9550215-5-3
This project for Key Stages 1 and 2 introduces the process of block-printing onto
fabric based on historical and cultural sources. The block-printing theme is developed
to include the use of mixed media and can be experienced with the minimum of equipment
and materials. It introduces how to successfully block-print onto fabric and the
right materials to use. In this Project Teaching Pack we suggest ways to make printing
successful and different.
The Block-printing Project Teaching Pack describes the process of block-printing
and gives you numerous ideas and detailed, easy to follow instructions. It contains
photographs of the different stages of the process. The pack also contains great
photographs of artwork produced by children, and a few are also shown the photo gallery.
With the exception of consumable materials and equipment the pack includes everything
necessary to try block-printing.
